The LA Galaxy Academy U-16's are on a roll.
On day three of the Liga Bancomer International Tournament, the Galaxy defeated the San Jose Earthquakes 3-0. Leonardo Sepulveda opened the scoring in the 20th minute, after a corner kick attempt was headed back across goal.
Misael Becerra Jr doubled the Galaxy's lead in the 45th minute before Arnoldo Castillo put the game out of reach in stoppage time to give LA a 3-0 victory.
It was the Galaxy's third straight win in the tournament and they sit at the top of the table with nine points. They are also one of two teams who have yet to allow a goal.
The Galaxy opened the tournament on Thursday, August 4 with a 1-0 win over the Philadelphia Union U-16's and then defeated FC Dallas on Friday, August 5 2-0.
The U-16's will next face Pachuca who have scored a tournament high 9 goals. That match will take place on Sunday, August 7 at 10 a.m. PT and will be streamed live at LAGalaxy.com.
