Major League Soccer released a first look at the 2014-15 offseason calendar on Wednesday, confirming the dates of several important events in the run-up to the kickoff of the league's 20th season in March 2015.
The calendar includes the dates of the MLS Expansion, Waiver and Re-entry drafts, as well as the MLS Combine and SuperDraft. The MLS Caribbean Combine, which debuted in 2014, will again take place in the lead-up to the SuperDraft.
As with previous offseasons which featured an Expansion Draft, this winter will feature a Half-day Trade Window on Dec. 8, shortly before 2015 newcomers New York City FC and Orlando City make their selections on Dec. 10.
