Atlanta United cannot stop scoring. United shut down a struggling 10-man LA Galaxy, scoring all four goals in the first half at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
ATL went up early with three goals in seven minutes, including a brace from Yamil Asad. Galaxy did not do themselves any favors when Jermaine Jones was booked less than 20 minutes later for violent conduct in the 39th minute.
Unlike ATL's 7-0 victory over New England, ATL settled into a controlled possession game in the second half, and kept a clean sheet for the eight time this season.
