Mike Barnard is a respiratory therapist at St. John’s Hospitals in Ventura County. He has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry all coming as part of the St. John’s hospitals in Ventura – a commitment that is truly sensational. In his everyday role, Mike is responsible for monitoring and treating patients with temporary and chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma, pneumonia bronchitis, and emphysema.
Mike is the epitome of Dignity Health’s motto of humankindness because he is a caring and compassionate caregiver who sacrifices his personal time and money to go above and beyond for the care of others in Ventura. He leads efforts for St. John’s in providing welcome toys to children who are visiting the ER by purchasing them weekly and delivering them personally.
