CARSON, Calif. – The US National Team wrapped up the first portion of their annual January camp on Friday with one final training session at StubHub Center as they prepare to head off to South America to face Chile.
Only one LA Galaxy player will be making the trip however as U.S. head coach Jurgen Klinsmann selected forward Gyasi Zardes to his 23-man roster for the match against La Roja on Jan. 28 in Rancagua. The group departed for Chile on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Zardes' Galaxy teammate Oscar Sorto was among six January camp players who will return to their clubs for preseason preparations.
