The LA Galaxy trained at StubHub Center today ahead of the final match of a three-game road swing when they face 2015 expansion side Orlando City SC at the Citrus Bowl live on ESPN and ESPN Deportes this Sunday, May 17 at 2 p.m. PT.
The Galaxy (3-3-5, 14 points) will face Orlando City SC (2-4-3, 9 points) for the first time in club history. Orlando City most recently earned a 2-2 draw Friday evening at the Citrus Bowl when they came from behind to draw against the New England Revolution. The match will mark the Galaxy’s first MLS match in Florida since 2001, when they faced the Tampa Bay Mutiny and Miami Fusion. Sunday’s match will mark the fourth game this month as the Galaxy play in seven total games during May, the highest number of games in any month this season.
