The LA Galaxy hosted the third Annual LA Galaxy 5k and Cozmo Family Fun Run presented by Herbalife Sunday morning at StubHub Center with over 600 participants at the event, raising $18,000 in charity.
The LA Galaxy 5k and Cozmo Family run was attended by various LA Galaxy players including Dan Gargan, Baggio Husidic, Brian Rowe, Leonardo and Andrew Wolverton in addition to Galaxy President Chris Klein and legend Mauricio Cienfuegos.
This year’s LA Galaxy 5k and Cozmo Family Fun Run presented by Herbalife took place on a new course design at StubHub Center and saw participants finish in the main stadium, with runners able to view themselves on Galaxy TV, the largest video board in Major League Soccer.
Former Olympic athlete, personal trainer, and director of worldwide fitness and education for Herbalife Samantha Clayton was also on hand to help participants warm up before the race, with an hour-long instructional session given just before the start of race.
