DUBLIN, Ireland (Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015) - CMRF Crumlin ambassador and LA Galaxy captain Robbie Keane and additional members of the LA Galaxy were at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin today. Keane and the LA Galaxy were present to make a donation to CMRF Crumlin of $50,000 on behalf of the LA Galaxy Foundation and Herbalife.
“It’s terrific to come here today and make this donation with my teammates on behalf of the LA Galaxy Foundation and our sponsors Herbalife,” said Keane. “My family is from Crumlin, and Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital is a very special place for me so it is wonderful to be involved. I’m also delighted to lend my support to CMRF Crumlin’s ‘Give It Up’ campaign, a really super idea and I would encourage people to visit the website at www.giveitup.ie and make a donation.”
LA Galaxy Foundation and Herbalife’s donation will help sustaining and building on the work carried out at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin. Specfically, this donation will go towards funding a number of urgent capital projects at the hospital as well as funding crucial paediatric research at the National Children’s Research Centre for whom CMRF Crumlin also raises funds for.

Robbie Keane was also present at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin today to lend his support to CMRF Crumlin’s latest crucial fundraising campaign, ‘Give It Up For Crumlin’. The ‘Give It Up’ initiative calls on the public to help fundraise for the hospital by ‘giving something up’ for the next 40 days, or part thereof.
