Robbie Keane nominated for AT&T Goal of the Week

Goal of the Week

LA Galaxy forward Robbie Keane has been nominated for the MLS AT&T Goal of the Week for Week 3 for his third-minute goal on Saturday against the Houston Dynamo.

Just over two minutes into the match, Robbie Keane collected a ball from Jose Villarreal 40 yards away from the goal. With space in front on him, Keane pushed forward before nutmegging the Houston Defender at the top of the 18 to put himself in on goal with only Tyler Deric to beat. The 2014 MLS MVP then calmly slotted in the ball between the goalkeepers’ legs to give LA the lead.

Keane goes up against Fatai Alashe (SJ), Ryan Hollingshead (DAL), Robbie Keane (LA), Octavio Rivero (VAN) and Harry Shipp (CHI).

Cast your ballot for your favorite goal before voting ends! The winner is determined by the total number of votes cast online and will be announced on Friday.
