Slager, 22, joins Los Dos after spending his first season in the USL with Orange County Blues FC. Slager had two assists and six goals in 21 appearances across all competitions for Orange County in 2015. Slager began his professional career in the Netherlands with RKC Waalwijk (Eredivisie), spending the 2012 and 2013 season there. In Jan. 2014, he signed with English League One club Coventry City, where he made one start and three substitute appearances. Slager was later signed by the Orange County Blues in March 2015. Slager was born and raised in Holland, but has played at the international level representing Curaçao, the island country in the south Caribbean Sea where his mother is from. Slager represented the country in the 2013 CONCACAF U-20 Championships.
