Career Summary

The LA Galaxy signed Zlatan Ibrahimović on March 23, 2018 with Targeted Allocation Money. The Swedish striker joins the five-time MLS Cup champions after a decorated career internationally and throughout Europe, where he has starred for Ajax Amsterdam, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and his native Sweden while accumulating over 500 goals for club and country.

2018: In his first season with the Galaxy, he enjoyed a remarkable debut year becoming one of three players in league history with 20-plus goals and 10-plus assists in a season. In September, he became one of three active players in world soccer with 500 or more goals. His iconic goal against LAFC on March 21 won the 2018 MLS Goal of the Year.  Earned the LA Galaxy Player of the Year and was also named a finalist for MLS MVP.
