The LA Galaxy Academy Under-16 team continued Group B of the 2016-16 Generation adidas Cup Finals' Championship Division play today in Dallas, Texas. After defeating the New York Red Bulls Academy in a penalty shootout, the U-16's second game of the tournament was against Aspire Academy's Under-16 team.
The two sides played to a nil-nil draw as the LA Galaxy Academy found themselves in their second penalty shootout of the tournament.
The Galaxy then went out to defeat Aspire in penalty kicks, grabbing another 2 points in Group B. They will now turn their attention to the third and final game against River Plate. A win in that match would put them through to the semifinals.
