LOS ANGELES (Monday, April 29, 2019) – After another home win, the LA Galaxy (7-1-0, 21 points) hit the road for a weekend fixture against New York Red Bulls (2-4-2, 8 points) on Saturday, May 4 at Red Bull Arena. The match will be broadcast live on ESPN.
All-time, the LA Galaxy are 17-19-8 against the New York Red Bulls, one of the few teams in MLS to have that advantage. The Galaxy are 8-12-3 at Red Bull Arena, earning a 3-1 win in their last visit in 2017. Last season, the Galaxy fell 3-2 in their only match against NYRB. Ola Kamara and Giovani dos Santos scored in that contest.

Over the weekend, the Galaxy added another home win to their name in a 2-1 defeat of Real Salt Lake at Dignity Health Sports Park. Uriel Antuna tallied his first goal for the Galaxy while Zlatan Ibrahimović secured his fourth game-winning goal of the season in the 78th minute. The Galaxy are a perfect 6-0-0 at home for the first time since 1996.
The Galaxy enter the weekend with the highest points per game average in MLS (2.44). This morning, Jonathan dos Santos was named to MLS Team of the Week for his performances against Minnesota United FC and Real Salt Lake.
