LOS ANGELES (Monday, Aug. 5, 2019) – The LA Galaxy (12-10-1, 37 points) finish a three-game road stretch this weekend against D.C. United (9-7-9, 36 points) at 4:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Aug. 11 at Audi Field (FS1).
This will mark the LA Galaxy’s first trip to Audi Field, D.C. United’s new home that was opened in July 2018. The Galaxy are 20-14-11 all-time against D.C. United, going 9-9-5 in road contests. In their one meeting of 2018, the LA Galaxy drew 2-2 with D.C. United on July 4 at Dignity Health Sports Park, with goals from Zlatan Ibrahimović and Chris Pontius.
Over the weekend, the Galaxy fell 3-0 to Atlanta United FC in Atlanta. This week, the LA Galaxy regain Zlatan Ibrahimović, Diego Polenta and Efrain Alvarez from one-game suspensions.
