CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy forward Alan Gordon was named LA Riot Squad Player of the Year following the Galaxy's 5-2 defeat to the Portland Timbers Sunday.
In conjunction with the Galaxy club awards, the Supporters' Group announced Gordon as the 13th winner of the award. Gordon, a Riot Squad favorite, has scored five goals in 28 appearances this season for the Galaxy.
The LARS POTY has been awarded since the 2002 season and recognized the person who best embodied LARS' unique spirit.
