TORREON, Coah. -- The LA Galaxy will be without left back Ashley Cole for their CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal second leg with Santos Laguna after the 35-year-old welcomed his first child earlier this week.
Following the Galaxy's match against Santos Laguna last week, Cole flew to Rome for the birth a baby boy with girlfriend Sharon Canu.
Cole will be available for selection for Sunday's MLS regular season opener against D.C. United.
