CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy defender Dave Romney's brilliant strike won the LA Galaxy goal of the month competition presented by 76 gas for March.
The 23-year-old's left footed volley helped the Galaxy seal a 2-1 victory over Real Salt Lake on March 18. Romney's banger of a goal was nominated for MLSsoccer.com's Goal of the Week.
Ema Boateng's tally against Salt Lake finished second in the voting, while Galaxy II striker Ethan Zubak's goal rounded out the voting.
