CARSON, Calif. – Robbie Keane (hip flexor tightness) and Steven Gerrard (hamstring) are still working their way back from injury ahead of the LA Galaxy’s Knockout Round match against Real Salt lake on Wednesday.
Gerrard trained off to the side during the session on Monday, while Keane took part in practice with the full squad. Neither player has played with the Galaxy since the team’s defeat to FC Dallas on Oct. 1. Ahead of the Galaxy’s Knockout Round match with Salt Lake on Wednesday, the Galaxy’s 34-year-old Irish captain told reporters that he was “fine.”
"They’re out here," Bruce Arena said on Monday. They’re running around out here. We’ll see. We’ll make those decisions tomorrow."
