CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy aren’t too concerned about FC Dallas’ Supporters’ Shield positioning heading into the final game of the MLS Regular Season.

Los Angeles cannot advance their seeding after earning the third seed in the West with their 1-0 victory over the Houston Dynamo last week, but the match Sunday still holds significant importance for FC Dallas. Oscar Pareja’s side can clinch the Supporters’ Shield and home-field advantage throughout the MLS Cup Playoffs with a win or a draw with Los Angeles.

Although Dallas could lift the Supporters’ Shield at StubHub Center, LA Galaxy boss Bruce Arena admits that he isn’t too concerned about their Supporters’ Shield chase.

“I couldn’t care less about any of that stuff,” Arena said. “We’re trying to win the game.”

Although Arena doesn't care about playing spoiler in the Supporters' Shield race, he's hoping his squad can end the season with a win.

"We’re going to try and win the game; that’s what our strategy is. We are putting the best team we can put on the field, under the circumstances," Arena said. "You can figure that out any way you want to."
