Colorado Rapids forward Shelezen Gashi was issued a one-game suspension and fined an undisclosed amount by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for his actions during the Rapids’ 1-0 win over the LA Galaxy.
Following Marco Pappa’s late game-winner, Gashi ran onto the field of play to celebrate with his teammates following the dramatic goal. Gashi will miss Colorado’s match this weekend against D.C. United.
