CARSON, Calif. – Will Zlatan Ibrahimović make his first start for the LA Galaxy this Sunday?
Potentially, according to head coach Sigi Schmid.
The 36-year-old forward enjoyed an astounding club debut scoring two goals –including one that will be seen for ions going forward— in a 4-3 comeback win over LAFC. Ibrahimović has shown no signs of lag as he has participated in full training since arriving from Manchester last Friday.
After his grand 20-minute debut, Schmid must now decide when to add Ibrahimović into the starting XI.
“He’s continuing to work,” Schmid said. “We’ll make that decision as we get closer to the game.”
