CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy head coach Curt Onalfo revealed that the Galaxy’s signing of Portuguese midfielder João Pedro will not be the club’s final signing of the offseason.
The Galaxy added the Portuguese midfielder on Thursday to bolster a midfield that lost veterans Steven Gerrard and Jeff Larentowicz in the offseason. According to Onalfo, the club is currently pursuing other targets to add to their roster ahead of the start of preseason training camp next week.
“We’re never ending that process. Will it be the last signing? No. We’ll continue to push forward with those things. My focus is on what I have,” Onalfo told LA Galaxy Insider. “I’m the coach, not the GM and coach, so it’s my job to move our players forward and reach their potential. I’m excited. I can’t wait to get started.”
