CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy defender Daniel Steres was named to MLSsoccer.com's Team of the Week for his role in helping the LA Galaxy secure a 1-0 shutout of the Houston Dynamo on Sunday.
Starting in place of the suspended Jelle Van Damme, Steres excelled in stifling the Dynamo attack, particularly late as Los Angeles held on to the victory. The Galaxy's shutout was their first shutout since August 27.
