Former LA Galaxy II defender Joe Franco has joined NASL side Miami FC, the club announced on Tuesday.
The Cal-State Northridge Product made a total of 44 apperances for Galaxy II during his two seasons with the club. A regular on the right side of defense for Los Dos, Franco was also a frequent participant in training with the Galaxy's first team.
"Franco has all the qualities that I like to see in our defenders," said Miami FC head coach Alessandro Nesta said in a press release. "He has great speed, good control, but more importantly, he's got a good head on his shoulders both on and off the field. He's an excellent signing for the team and we're ready to see what he can do."
After announcing the move, Franco took to Instagram to thank Galaxy II and their fans after two years at StubHub Center.
