CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy stars Giovani dos Santos and Jonathan dos Santos will be among the 25 players in Major League Soccer who will learn their matchups in Friday’s 2018 FIFA World Cup draw in Moscow.
The Dos Santos brothers are among 25 players, representing 10 nations that qualified for the World Cup who will learn their group stage opponents at the World Cup draw. The draw will be broadcast at 7 a.m. PT on FS1, Telemundo and FIFA.com online.
If all 25 players participate in the world’s showpiece tournament, it will set a new record for MLS participants in the World Cup, breaking the mark of 21 set during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Giovani will be seeking to make his third World Cup for Mexico, while Jonathan is hoping to reach the tournament for the first time in his professional career.
