HARRISON, N.J. – Giovani dos Santos is finding his form at the right time for the LA Galaxy.
Dos Santos notched his second goal in as many games last Sunday during the Galaxy’s 3-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls. The 28-year-old striker, who also bagged an assist, capped off the win by converting the penalty won moments earlier by Romain Alessandrini.
After the game, dos Santos was pleased to start his own scoring streak.
“I feel because of the team doing well we have to keep going physically. I feel great, I’ve been working,” dos Santos said. “Even at the start of the season when the goals or assists didn’t come, I kept saying it will come because I know that the work that I’m doing. I am confident because I know that we have a good team. We showed it today and this is the way we got to keep going.”
