CARSON, Calif. – Giovani dos Santos is eager to participate in his first MLS All-Star Game in San Jose.
Dos Santos was named to All-Star head coach Dominic Kinnear’s game day roster for Wednesday’s match against Arsenal FC at San Jose’s Avaya Stadium last week. The 27-year-old will be the lone representative for the Galaxy at the match.
“I’m very happy because it’s going to be my first MLS All-Star Game,” Dos Santos said on Thursday. “I’m very happy to be there for the fans and I’m looking forward to playing with some of the best players in the league. It’s going to be a great experience.”
The Mexican striker has enjoyed a stellar 2016 campaign with seven goals and five assists in 15 appearances.
