CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos needed to step up to bring the LA Galaxy back from an early season slide, and the Mexican striker has delivered during the team's recent five-game unbeaten run.
Dos Santos has scored five goals in his last four games, including two to lead Los Angeles to a 4-2 win over the San Jose Earthquakes last week. The scoring clip is the second time that dos Santos' has scored in four consecutive matches, dating back to April/May of 2016.
As for the cause of his reason streak, dos Santos describes it plainly.

“I think that the team is starting to feel very well, more confident. I think the chemistry between everyone is getting better and I've just been working really hard on helping my team.”
