CARSON, Calif. -- LA Galaxy forward Giovani dos Santos is up for the Etihad Airways' Player of the Month award after his phenomenal month of September.
The 27-year-old Galaxy striker scored five goals and tallied four assists in a fantastic September that saw him rejoin the Mexican National Team fold after a year-long absence. Dos Santos is nominated alongside Seattle Sounders FC's Chad Marshall, New York City FC forward David Villa, New York Red Bulls striker Bradley Wright-Phillips, and Columbus Crew SC forward Ola Kamara.
