CARSON, Calif. -- Giovani dos Santos paid tribute to LA Galaxy fans after being named the club's Player of the Year on Sunday.
The Galaxy's Mexican international was named the 2016 LA Galaxy Player of the Year, presented by Herbalife Nutrition and also earned the club's Golden Boot award after a stellar 2016 campaign. Immediately following the Galaxy's scoreless draw with FC Dallas, which Dos Santos did not feature in, the 27-year-old thanked the fans for voting him club MVP.
