LOS ANGELES -- LA Galaxy head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto told reporters that Romain Alessandrini will be evaluated this week after suffering a knee injury in the Galaxy's 2-1 win over the Houston Dynamo last Friday.
Alessandrini exited the match in the 16th minute after picking up a knock in the early stages of the clash with the Dynamo. Afterward, Schelotto said the club will need to confirm specifically what the issue is with the star French midfielder.
“I don’t know. Just, I need to talk with the doctor," he said. "Maybe tomorrow, or Monday, when he can do something in the clinic, because it’s the knee, but I don’t know what happened.”
