LOS ANGELES – Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez is ready to get down to business with the LA Galaxy.
Hernandez was introduced to the Los Angeles media on Thursday at a press conference attended by hundreds at Dignity Health Sports Park. The 31-year-old Mexican international forward signed with the Galaxy on Tuesday after a 10-year career in Europe.
With his new club, Hernandez has grand aspirations with the Galaxy.
“I signed for three years, plus one. Hopefully, every year is a championship year. Hopefully every year we can get there. Hopefully, we can win the Concacaf Champions League... Hopefully, we can be the first team to qualify for the FIFA Club World Cup from the MLS.
“We could talk for hours of what I imagine, and what I want to accomplish. My imagination is very abundant, and now life and soccer will tell us how it will play out.”
