LA Galaxy star and USMNT international Sebastian Lletget and the LA Galaxy Foundation are celebrating Women’s Equality Day with a SoulCycle Charity Ride in Manhattan Beach on Friday, Aug. 25. The Charity Ride has limited space, so fans are encouraged to sign up now to participate and secure their chance to meet Lletget.
Meet Sebastian Lletget and support the LA Galaxy Foundation
The Galaxy family will be riding in celebration of Women’s Equality Day and the launch of the LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy. Observed on August 26th, Women’s Equality Day commemorates the date in which women officially became part of the United States constitution in 1920.
LA Galaxy are committed to developing young leaders in the Los Angeles community through the vehicle of soccer and integration of leadership development programming in partnership with local community organizations. The Club’s launch of the LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy is the first and only Girls’ Academy program to be fully-funded by a Major League Soccer team, allowing talented local athletes to join free of charge. LA Galaxy Foundation will continue community efforts through the four-part Women’s Leadership series that invites women ranging from middle school to established professionals to empower one another through resources related to health & nutrition, leadership development, job readiness and current sport and entertainment trends.
