Jonathan dos Santos scored his first-ever international goal for Mexico and tallied an assist as El Tri defeated Paraguay 4-2 at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Tuesday.
Dos Santos opened the scoring in the sixth minute with an impressive close-range finish before providing a helper on Javier Hernandez's tally just minutes later. Gerardo "Tata" Martino's squad also received goal via a Paraguay own goal and a Luis Montes stoppage-time strike.
Dos Santos will now return to Los Angeles to the Galaxy as they prepare for Sunday's match vs. the Portland Timbers.
