LA Galaxy goalkeeper Justin Vom Steeg has been named to U.S. National Team’s 21-player combined preparation camp roster, U.S. Soccer announced on Wednesday.
The camp will run from May 26-June 2 in Annapolis, Md. The camp will serve as a tune-up for players named to Gregg Berhalter’s Concacaf Gold Cup squad and U-23 internationals who will participate in their own camp from June 10-16 in Salt Lake City.
Vom Steeg has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Galaxy but has been a consistent contributor for LA Galaxy II, making 25 career appearances and seven this season. The 22-year-old goalkeeper is among 13 of the players in camp who are age-eligible for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
