CARSON, Calif. – LA Galaxy Academy product Ulysses Llanez has been called up to Mexico’s U-16 squad for a domestic training camp in Mexico City.
Llanez has spent the week training with the team under the guidance of head coach Enrique Echeverria. The Lynwood product will participate in the camp until Thursday and then return to take part in the team’s GA Cup tournament slate.
Llanez isn’t the only Academy product earning attention from El Tri as earlier this month, Efrain Alvarez spent a week with the Mexico U-15’s for a tournament in Qatar.
