CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy will travel to face the San Jose Earthquakes in the U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals on July 10 at Avaya Stadium.
The Galaxy advanced to the quarterfinals for the third consecutive season on Wednesday when they defeated USL side Sacramento Republic, 2-0. Ariel Lassiter and Bradford Jamieson IV provided the goals for Curt Onalfo’s squad.
Los Angeles will now play their California Clásico rivals at Avaya Stadium after San Jose defeated Seattle Sounders FC 2-1 on Wednesday. The match will be the second game in 10 days between the two sides.
