On January 18, in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the LA Galaxy and LA Galaxy Foundation partnered with East Side Riders Bike Club (ESRBC) for a Watts Community Cleanup. During this event, LA Galaxy front office staff and AEG employees worked side by side with members of the Watts community to collect over 35 bags of trash from 103rd Street. After reflecting upon the day, John Jones, Club President of ESRBC said, "This is exactly what MLK wanted on his 92nd birthday."
ESRBC is an all-volunteer, grassroots bicycle club founded in 2008. Since the start of COVID-19, ESRBC has provided over 135,000 meals to members of the Watts community.
