LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy aren’t done trying to bolster their roster according to general manager Dennis te Kloese.
On the heels of signing central defender Giancarlo Gonzalez, the Galaxy General Manager revealed that the team is still actively looking to add pieces to the squad. Los Angeles have started the season strong with Guillermo Barros Schelotto’s squad going 4-1-0 in their opening five contests.
Despite the success, te Kloese says the team is still looking to bring in talent, particularly on the offensive end.
“With a very busy summer with international callups for some of our players, we need to be intelligent on who we can bring in that has a different profile than we already have,” te Kloese told LAGalaxy.com. “On the offensive side it makes the most sense to still add a piece, but we’ll take our time.
"With the moves that we made at the beginning of the season, we have more room with the salary cap and we want to spend it in a responsible and intelligent way.”
