LOS ANGELES – LA Galaxy Girls’ Academy Under-14’s will participate in the prestigious Angeles Football Cup in Spain from June 12-17.
The Galaxy U-14’s will face off against local sides Atletico Madrid, Zaragoza and Osasuna in Group A of competition. Group B features six-time UEFA Women’s Champions League winners Olympique Lyonnais as well as Spanish sides Athletic Bilbao, Sevilla, and Valencia.
The Galaxy open the competition with matches against Atleti and Zaragoza on June 14 before closing the group stage a day later against Osasuna. Regardless of their placement in the group stage, the Galaxy are guaranteed two additional matches as the tournament concludes.
