HARRISON, N.J. -- The LA Galaxy put an end to the New York Red Bulls' 19-match unbeaten run at Red Bull Arena on Sunday.
Romain Alessandrini scored twice and Giovani dos Santos tallied once to give the Galaxy a 3-1 win over the Red Bulls. The victory was the first defeat for the Red Bulls at home since April 24, 2016, and ended the seventh-longest home unbeaten record in league history.
Los Angeles also became just the second team to score at Red Bull Arena in 2017. The Galaxy's win at Red Bull Arena was the first victory at the venue since the 2011 playoffs.
