LA Galaxy II defender Jefrey Payeras made his international debut for Guatemala on Wednesday in their friendly with Central American rival Panama.
Payeras went 90 minutes in central defense for the Guatemalans in their scoreless draw with Panama. The Galaxy II center back has appeared for American and Guatemalan youth teams.
The 22-year-old Hawthorne native has made 19 appearances, scoring one goal for Los Dos this season.
