2018 LA Galaxy Home Opener
SANTA MONICA — Two Los Angeles institutions came together on Thursday evening as the LA Galaxy lit up their crest on the world famous Santa Monica Pier Ferris Wheel.
Jonathan dos Santos, Romain Alessandrini, club president Chris Klein, Galaxy legend Cobi Jones, and two season ticket holders participated in the lighting of the Ferris Wheel as the Galaxy's crest displayed against a picturesque Southern California sunset.
“We know that Los Angeles is made up of many iconic landmarks and the Santa Monica Pier is one of those. To have our crest on the Pier’s Ferris Wheel is pretty cool,” Klein told LAGalaxy.com. “We’ve been here in Los Angeles since 96 and to be part of the culture and fabric of the city is something that we are very proud of.”
