The LA Galaxy will open their 2016 U.S. Open Cup campaign against a local amateur side.
The Galaxy will host either Santa Ana's La Maquina and Torrance-based L.A. Wolves FC on June 15 when they enter the tournament in the fourth round of the U.S. Open Cup. The two amateur teams face off on June 1 at Westminster High School.
La Maquina defeated NPSL club, Sacramento Gold 2-0 earlier this week, while Wolves FC bypassed Orange County Blues in a dramatic penalty kick shootout on Wednesday.
