CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy slid down the MLS Power Rankings after their defeat to Atlanta United last week.
The Galaxy fell 2-0 to Atlanta United last weekend on goals by Josef Martinez and Miguel Almiron. Los Angeles return to action on Saturday when they host New York Red Bulls.

The Galaxy haven't put together any kind of streak yet this year. Coming off a loss, if form holds they're bound to get a result of some kind against the Red Bulls. But questions about the best lineup and the best defense for this team look like they will persist for some time yet.
Atlanta United walked into Carson and mostly controlled the game from start to finish. The Galaxy had a few chances, but there was little anyone -- including Zlatan Ibrahimović -- could do to stop Miguel Almiron & Co. from leaving with three points.
