LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified Team look for second California Clásico win

CARSON, Calif. – The LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified squad will close their 2017 campaign when they face off against the San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday.


The Galaxy’s California Clásico Special Olympics match will directly follow the first team’s match and will kick off at 6:15 p.m. PT. Fans can stay for the Special Olympics match for free following the Galaxy clash or enter the stadium after the first team clash at 6:15 p.m. PT with parking at StubHub Center only $20 dollars. 


Los Angeles’ Special Olympics Unified team has picked up two wins this season including an 11-3 win over the Portland Timbers earlier this month. The Galaxy SOSC Unified squad will play San Jose for a second time this season, defeating their counterparts from the Quakes, 5-2 back in May. 


“I’m very excited for our home and I hope that we win again,” Galaxy SOSC midfielder Oliver Fiust said. “I would love for all of the Galaxy fans to wish us a good game and help us support our community and our relationship with the Special Olympics.”
