PORTLAND, Ore. – The LA Galaxy’s Special Olympics Unified squad picked up a huge 11-3 victory over the Portland Timbers on the Adidas campus in Portland on Sunday afternoon.
Logan Jones notched a second half hat trick in the victory as the Galaxy’s United squad picked up their second consecutive victory. Armando Saucedo and Oliver Fiust each notched a brace while Daniel Garcia, Josue Garcia, Carlos Madrigal, and Jose Conde each added a tally of their own.
The LA Galaxy Special Olympics Unified team will conclude their season on Aug. 27 when they face off against their counterparts from the San Jose Earthquakes.
