The LA Galaxy's position stayed relatively consistent in the three most prominent power rankings after their scoreless draw with Vancouver Whitecaps FC last weekend.
Los Angeles maintained the same position in both the Sports Illustrated and ESPN FC rankings while dropping from sixth to seventh in MLSsoccer.com's list.
The rankings and the justification from all three sites is below.
"Without Robbie Keane in the lineup, who could be missing for about two months after knee surgery, LA couldn’t finish any of its 15 shots against 10-man Vancouver, settling for a goalless draw on the road."
"The Galaxy's makeshift forward line couldn't take advantage of being up a man for more than an hour in Vancouver. A clean sheet is all well and good, but good teams win in that situation."
"Win at home, draw on the road. It's ugly, but for the Galaxy it's been working well enough."
