VANCOUVER, B.C. -- Romain Alessandrini is new to Los Angeles, but the LA Galaxy's French midfielder has already fallen in love with the City of Angels.
After scoring his second goal for the club during the Galaxy's 4-2 defeat to Vancouver Whitecaps FC last Saturday, Alessandrini found a way to honor his new home with a unique goal celebration. Following the goal in the 30th minute, Alessandrini flashed the iconic "L.A." hand sign which has grown synonymous with the city.
For the Frenchman, paying tribute to his new home is important, and that is why he's going to show that he's repping L.A. after each goal he scores for the club.
“This is for LA, you know? It's for the club, and for the team," Alessandrini told LA Galaxy Insider. "I hope to score a lot of goals for this team, and I hope to do this celebration each time.”
