COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – Landon Donovan did not comment on his future with the LA Galaxy after the club’s MLS Cup Playoffs elimination to the Colorado Rapids.
The 33-year-old Galaxy midfielder played only 45 minutes during Los Angeles’ heartbreaking penalty kick defeat after picking up a hamstring injury in the first half. Since ending his near two-year retirement in September, the league’s all-time scoring leader made six appearances for the Galaxy, earning two starts, while scoring once.
“This is not the time to talk about that,” he said after the defeat.
